Hey, friends welcome back, today we are going to discuss the Coronavirus Precautions: How to be safe from COVID-19. In this pandemic time, we have to be safe not for ourselves also for our family members. In this article, we will see some safety tips and some info about immunity booster foods.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.” In the current situation number of cases is increasing day by day.  On April 19 in this 2021 year, India recorded 2,73,810 new cases. The situation is going to worst day by day. 

There are few simple ways that help us to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect ourselves and others.

Wear Masks:

 Mask is played a very important weapon against this Coronavirus. Everyone needs to wear a mask properly. Wash your hand and sensitized it properly before wearing the mask. Make sure that when you are wearing a mask your mouth, chin and nose are covered with it. Don't touch your mask after wearing it without hand sensitize.

Maintain Social Distance:

The main transmission is appearing because of touching the infected people. Social distancing persists as a key way to moderate spread. The CDC advises maintaining a distance of around 6 feet from others in public places. This distance will help to avoid direct contact with respiratory droplets produced by sneezing. Always remember this some people don't have symptoms but they are able to spread the virus. 

Wash Hands Properly:

Following good hygiene is an important way to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Make certain CDC recommendations part of our routine:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you come from a public place, or after blowing your nose or sneezing.
  • It’s mainly important to wash:
    • Before eating or cooking food
    • Before touching face
    • After using the bathroom
    • After leaving from a public place
    • After coughing, or sneezing
    • After handling mask
    • After attending someone who’s sick
    • After involving with animals or pets
  • If soap and water are not immediately available, use a hand sanitizer that carries at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of hands with sanitizer.
  • Avoid rubbing your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Avoid Crowd and traveling:

Traveling can enhance the spread of COVID-19 and put us at risk for getting the disease. The CDC advises avoiding non-essential travel to many foreign or non-foreign destinations during the pandemic time. It also directs people to consider the risks when it comes to national travel: “Travel increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19,” states the CDC. “Staying home is the best way to protect ourselves and others from this COVID-19.”

Always alert to Symptoms:

We have to always alert to the symptoms of COVID-19. The symptoms of the disease for the coronavirus are usually similar to other respiratory virus infections, such as influenza.  The Symptoms are following:

The Most obvious symptoms:
  1. fever
  2. dry cough
  3. tiredness
  4. sneezing
  5. loss of smell or taste

The Less common symptoms:
  1. aches and pains
  2. sore throat
  3. diarrhea
  4. conjunctivitis
  5. headache
  6. loss of taste or smell
  7. Rashes on the skin, or discoloration of fingers or toes

The Serious symptoms:
  1. trouble in breathing or shortness of breath
  2. chest pain or pressure
  3. loss of speech or movement

Genral Tips for Food:

Currently, there is no evidence found that people can be infected by COVID-19 from food, including fruits and vegetables. Fresh fruits and vegetables are part of a healthy diet and their eating should be encouraged by our immunity system. Try to consume Fresh food and vegetables avoid junk foods.
